Technology solutions group Interactive snares Slipstream Cyber Security amid cyber crime wave

 Sydney-based technology solutions provider Interactive has seized on the growing cyber security threat facing businesses by bolstering its operations in the field through the acquisition of Perth-based specialist Slipstream Cyber Security.

The merger will double Interactive’s cyber team to more than 60, who are part of a team of 600 technology professionals across the business servicing a combined 3,000 customers. It also builds on a strong working relationship forged between the two companies in 2019.

While the deal's financial terms have not been disclosed, Interactive says it is the first of its kind undertaken in the past 35 years by the company, an end-to-end security solutions provider, as it looks to bolster its fast-growing cyber security business.
